What to Expect
Safely operate company trucks for over-the-road (OTR) deliveries nationwide
Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of freight while maintaining excellent customer service
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Accurately complete logs, paperwork, and trip reports
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations
Maintain a clean and professional appearance and uphold Lomax Logistics’ core values of integrity and respect
Requirements
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Minimum of 1 year of verifiable OTR driving experience (preferred)
Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
Must pass DOT physical and drug screening
Strong understanding of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules
Ability to operate electronic logging devices (ELDs)
Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time efficiently
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Willingness to uphold Lomax Logistics’ values of honesty, safety, and professionalism
